JFE Technos began EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) and equipment supply for wind farms in 1996, which was the “dawning period” of large-scale windmills in Japan.
We have now constructed 131 windmills at 25 sites throughout Japan, and we also support the owners in business operation, operation monitoring, maintenance and inspection, and repair work. Based on this extensive track record and experience, we can respond to the Client’s needs in all aspects from planning to EPC and maintenance.

Construction
Windmill construction requires total engineering technologies, including civil engineering, architecture and electrical engineering.
We can also perform demolition work when wind power facilities reach the end of their useful life and provide one-stop service for replacement construction.
Each of the parts of a windmill is large, long and heavy.
We carry out this work based on a detailed plan, with safety as our No. 1 priority.
O&M
O&M for stable operation and safety
JFE Technos performs appropriate maintenance, including both regular inspections and inspection/repair in emergencies.
In addition to regular inspections required by laws and regulations, JFE Technos provides a full range of support from emergency inspections to repair work and assistance with safety management reviews once each 3 years, as well as operational management. We also support repair work such as blade repairs, as shown in the photo above.
