In order to achieve carbon-neutrality, the introduction of renewable energy sources that produce almost no CO2 emissions is being promoted in many countries around the world. Geothermal power generation uses steam that is taken from deep underground to directly turn a turbine and generate electricity, so it does not emit CO2, a cause of global warming. In addition, unlike solar and wind power generation, it can provide a stable supply of electricity because it is not affected by weather or seasons.
